Electrochemical energy conversion devices will play a major role in almost all aspects of life in the near future. Just think of the Li batteries or fuel cells. These products are none else than the practical realisation of our knowledge in theoretical electrochemistry, in which you can also participate.

The Day of Inverse Lectures, organized at Eötvös Loránd University, is such an event where researchers and professors are being tested by the students. Ákos Kriston of the Fuelcell.hu research group made a presentation for undergraduates during the innovation day of the university. The major application areas of fuel cells and the major areas of hydrogen economy were introduced. The development of the Hy-Go fuel cell car was presented in detail, which was designed and developed by the undergraduates of the research group. With the help of Dr. György Inzelt and Dr. István Faragó, the leaders of the group, HY-GO™ won different prizes. The development is going ahead, and a real city commuter will be developed this year.

Our research group is seeking young and motivated students, who would like to work in the development of modern and sustainable power sources. The presentation can be dowloaded from http://prezi.com/6w5qsulywgkb/inverz-tdk-2010/.
